I was lucky enough to be matron of honor in my best friend's wedding. She was looking to do a Fall wedding on a tight budget and didn't want to get stuck paying a bunch for her wedding bouquets. She really loves sunflowers but didn't want to pay a premium price to have them. Here's where the crafty, thrifty matron of honor comes in. With stacks of coupons and multiple trips to craft stores, I was able to gather enough faux floral to create the bride's bouquet, 8 bridesmaids bouquets, 2 bouquets for the mothers of the bride and groom, and 11 boutonnières for the groom, groomsmen, and fathers of the bride and groom. And I was able to stay well under budget! Now the bride and groom have forever keepsakes from their wedding without having to worry about properly drying out the bouquet and boutonnière.
